Who is Idaho Soap Company?
Handmade Natural Soap is my passion!
Sometimes life takes turns you don't expect. For us that turn landed us in Idaho. I can honestly say I only wish that we had landed here years ago. We LOVE Idaho! The laid back life style, scenic beauty, extremely nice people, four seasons, amazing and many rivers, breathtaking canyons, majestic mountains, accessible foothills. All of it!
Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I learned the craft of natural soap making at the Nova Studio, in the quaint town of Point Richmond. After the first class I was hooked! Creating beautiful great smelling handmade natural soaps has become my passion! I opened River Rock Lavender in 2010. I can often be found at a local farmers market or crafts fair. After moving to Idaho I felt a desire to honor the beauty of Idaho so opened Idaho Soap Company.
In researching the name, Idaho Soap Company, I found that the name was originally in 1906. A patent for washing soap was taken out in 1912 but later abandoned. I haven't found much more information on the company I only hope I can create a legacy for the future.
I hope that you love our products as much as I do. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
